A weekly online tournament aimed primarily at members of Castle Golf Club will be held each Thursday commencing at 2:00pm. Registration commences at NOON and it is advised that you register early to avoid a last minute rush and possible congestion. To register a pair, both players must be logged in to BBO (see more below). No joker rota for the moment.
This tournament will be run within bridgebase.com.
To register to play you must be a member of BridgeBase (BBO). Registration is free, just go to the URL and follow the instructions. There is no charge for playing the weekly tournament.
It is suggested that anyone planning to play should first become familiar with the ins and outs of using BBO. This can be done by simply playing CASUAL Bridge on the site on a number of occasions.
The Castle tournament is being kindly hosted by a TD named Paddyi. He has written a short user guide which supplements the help functions within BBO. This guide can be found at paddybbo.blogspot.com
In addition to this guide you may find the links below to videos and registration instructions helpful. Please remember that there is no formal help service available, the system is intuitive and it is intended that each individual become self-sufficient through their own learning.
